Description
80 pages. Translated Summary: Graduation concert and celebration of Harlem Shul. Program includes choir, a declamation, a pageant in memorial of Hirsh Leckert, speeches by administrators and teachers, a graduation ceremony. Though many booklets titled 'almanakh' and issued at the spring celebration are essentially school magazines, accompanied by a concert program and ads, this is also more like a classic school yearbook. Longer than usual introductory discourses by the administration and teachers. Pictures of the graduates with lists of their positive personality traits. then, children's writing from pages 16 through 50. Themes vary and are not consistently doctrinaire. Congratulations and ads begin on page 51. Ads include bond investments for co-operative buildings, bank accounts and insurance, restaurants, the Hebrew Publishing Company and many more.
