A View From the Bridge
March, 1991
Cider Mill Playhouse, Endicott, New York
In a coincidental but entirely appropriate tribute to Arthur Miller as he celebrates his 75th birth day this year the Theater Department is, in addition to tonite’s show, also presenting his "A View From The Bridge" at the Mill. This powerful dramatic play concerns a proud Italian/American longshoreman in whom dimly understood but violent passions are unleashed when he opens his home and offers protection to two of his wife’s cousins, recently — and illegally — arrived from the old country. The play is an intense and absorbing drama in the best Miller tradition.
