Description
This illustration has been cut out of a larger page, so there is no page number, title or magazine. This is set in a living room, with an armchair, a sofa, a lamp and flowers in a vase. Three men are in the picture. One appears to be hiding behind the sofa. All that can be seen is his upper body, lying on his stomach with his head propped up on his hands. The other two men are standing up at the end of the sofa, conversing. The first is dressed in leather shoes, striped grey trousers, dark cutaway cut and dark tie. His grey hair is combed back. He's holding his hands together at chest height, looking down at an angle. The other man has on leather shoes with spats, grey striped trousers, white vest, striped tie and dark suit coat with a boutonniere, and he's carrying his hat in his left hand. He's balding and wearing glasses. Turned to his right, looking at the sofa, he has his right hand at his chin, and he looks worried. The caption reads; "Does he often sleep on the floor?" "Most afternoons, sir," said Jeeves. "Would you desire me to wake him?" "No!" Blumenfeld drew a deep breath. "Just get me out of here alive, that's all I ask."
