Description
Designed by Ernest Flagg in 1914, the Gwynne Building is Cincinnati’s most ornamented high-rise. Flagg incorporated numerous elements of Beaux-Arts into his design, most notably arched windows, murals, and pedimented doors. Flagg added alternating “G” and “V” on the balcony grilles in reference to Gwynne and Vanderbilt.
