The Virginia Gayzette, vol. 3, no. 2. Date unknown, although printed sometime between January 1, 1978 and February 5, 1978. The Virginia Gayzette had previously been published by GARV (Gay Alliance of the Roanoke Valley) in 1972. Publication resumed in 1978 by the newly-formed group FAIR (Free Alliance for Individual Rights). FAIR was founded in Roanoke in July 1977. This issue includes a map of Roanoke's downtown gay bars, and descriptions of these bars. The issue also includes a proposal for various new committees within FAIR, and proposals for new services and programs such as a hotline and celebration of "National Gay Pride Day."
