Description
Close-up view of the end of one of the metal braces and its expansion bolt used to hold the Assyrian Reliefs in place on the walls of the Rotunda during the 2005 - 2007 renovaion. The reliefs remained on the Rotunda walls until the completion of the new Assyrian Gallery on the west side of the Walker Art Building. This image was provided to the Bowdoin College Museum of Art by the Consigli Construction Company, Inc. of Portland, Maine, the general contractor for the 2005 - 2007 renovation.
