Description
View toward the portico and original entrance to the Museum on the east side of the Walker Art Building. The upper steps have been removed, showing the original supports and stonework. After the new steps were installed, this area under them held air handling equipment for the building. This image was provided to the Bowdoin College Museum of Art by the Consigli Construction Company, Inc. of Portland, Maine, the general contractor for the 2005 - 2007 renovation.
