From left to right: Virginia Bergeron, a teacher at the Cone School in Topsham, Maine; Patricia McGraw Anderson (1930 - 2008), curator of education at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art from 1980 to 1984; Marilyn True (1924 - 2011), a volunteer at the Museum; and, an unidentified man stand in the Twentieth Century Gallery of the Walker Art Building. Mrs. Bergeron and her class (see also hpc1388_10.jp2 through hpc1390_10.jp2) are visiting the exhibition "The Magic Carpet", shown from February 01, 1983 through March 27, 1983. It was set up in the Temporary Exhibition Gallery and was coordinated by the Museum Volunteers Association as a special exhibition for children.
