1 photograph
24.8 x 19.4 cm ( 9.75 x 7.625 in).
Part of the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter showing a row of columns.
The photograph is in a book with a typed description in French and English. The English translation: "This temple is periptere, having 15 columns on the side and 8 in front. The pronaos (see plate 6) contains 8 more columns in two rows. The diameter of those pillars is 1m 90; the total height 19m 81. This edifice, in spite of its fine detail, suggests, as a whole, a decadent period. We have already remarked that it belongs to the beginning of the christian era."
The photograph was not catalogued by Lazard--it was catalogued at CAJS.
