On fly-leaf: This book of the Canonical Hours rebound in 1854 (1930) once belonged to one of the nuns of Port Royal Des Champs. Gillet Hardoyn printing. Organization: Calendar, 1516 to 1527; ff.2v-8r; Gospel Lessons, ff. 9r-15v; “Obsecro te”, 16r-17v; “O Intemerata”, ff. 17v-22r; Hours of the Virgin, ff. 22v-56v; Hours of the Holy Spirit, ff. 57r-68r; Suffrages, ff. 68v-; Office of the Dead, ff. 72v-87r; The collection of illuminated manuscripts were gifted to Allegheny College by Charles Carroll Albertson, D.D. 1899 in 1952.
