Alton Meister graduated from CUMC in 1945. He completed his internship here 1945 to 1946. He worked in Maryland for several years. In 1967, he was appointed Israel Rogosin Professor of Biochemistry (Chairman) and Biochemist in Chief. He retired in 1992. He died in 1995.
