The binding is a hybrid of a matchbook and case binding. The text block consists of folded leaves that are stapled through the side on the spine side to hold them together. The first and last leaves are glued to the case as pastedowns. The case consists of bare boards held together with a spine of duct tape. The text refers to setting fires with matches.
