Steven Leech's family has been in Delaware for generations. He grew up in the Wilmington area, and was drafted into the Army in 1966. After a tour in Vietnam, Leech returned to Delaware in April 1968, immediately after the assassination of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Interview conducted by Rebecca Johnson Melvin.
