A mummified Ibis package of Type 1 in which the head and bill has been drawn forward and placed along the median ventral line, their contours showing distinctly beneath the bandages. The legs, in Types 1 and 2, were bent forward having the claws extended and closely pressed against the ventral surface of the body. The bird has been dessicated in Natron or other preservative and then wrapped with several layers of linen.
