One of three corrective ear cap of pink ribbon, elastic and net in box, patented by Claxton, English, 1925-1945
Worn by babies and young children as they slept, this pink ribbon ear cap was for correcting and preventing the disfigurement of outstanding ears . Patented by Claxton, the advertisement promised that the cap would prevent ugly ears. Claxton ear caps first appeared in the 1890s.
