Dish, Bowl and Lid
This 1888 ceramic bowl and lid was donated by Mrs. Lida Charlton in May of 1935 as part of the Tauy Jones Dishes Collection. This white covered dish has a gold trim around the top and gold handles. the handles are in a sort of leaf-like design that come out at three rounded points on either side. There is a crack along the center of the bowl that is visible from both outside and inside. the lid has a handle in the shape of an ear of corn and is gold laying on the same leaf design as displayed in the handles of the bowl. The gold trim does not seem to have faded much.
