Letter from Gordon Fister to Warren Himmelberger, 07 February 1944., result 1 of 1
February 7, 1944
The spirit of it. (j.g.) John H. Wagner is thanking you for keeping us up-to-date on your whereabouts. John left for Fort Schuyler, N.Y. for training that you can well imagine on January 28th, and for the time being, I am doing some of his work in the Alumni Office.
Last word from Wagner, after less than a week at Fort Schuyler, is that he is using some muscles he never knew he had and some others that he has not used for fifteen years. When he comes back for the weekend, we plan to meet him at the station with one of Scotty Renwick's stretchers.
I hope you will find time to write us again, telling us about some of your work in your observations so that we can in- clude some word from you in the servicemens' letters and in the Alumni Magazine.
It's certainly a pleasure to hear from you and from the rest of our men in service.
Gordon B. Fister
For the Alumni Office
