Data produced from flourescent microscopy imaging of neurons from a mouse visual cortex. The neuronal activity is measured using calcium imaging. Each of the three plots represent the 'ON' state for a different individual neuron in the visual cortex of a mouse. The lateral coordinates show visual space and the large peak indicates the location where light evokes spikes of activity in the neuron. These three neurons share the the same 'ON' receptive field and this sharing is common in the mouse visual cortex and can be used to estimate the amount of light to signal convergence in the visual pathway.
