Description
This corroded tube of iron appears to be a gun barrel re-purposed for use as a scraping tool. The barrel is partly rounded and partly hexagonal/octagonal, with one end crushed together. There was a lump on one end, interpreted as a possible sight, but has since fallen off due to corrosion. The diameter of the barrel measures between 17.0-19.0 mm, the bore inside measures 10.5 mm, the thickness of the wall measures 3.8 mm, and the corroded sight was originally 5 mm from the end of the object.
